Refund policy
Trove is built on confidence in what we make. If a piece doesn't meet your standard, we'll make it right.
30-day returns
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be:
- Unworn and in brand-new condition
- In its original packaging, with all tags and inserts intact
- Free from any signs of use, alteration, or damage
All returns are inspected at our warehouse on arrival. Refunds are issued only once the item has been verified as meeting the conditions above.
How to start a return
Email contact@shop-trove.com with your order number and the reason for return. We'll respond within 24 hours with a return authorization and the return address.
Please do not ship items back without authorization — unauthorized returns cannot be processed and may be refused at the warehouse.
Return shipping
Return shipping is paid by the customer. A flat fee of $20 USD (or local-currency equivalent) covers tracked return shipping and is deducted from your refund. We recommend a tracked service in all cases — Trove is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take a few additional business days to appear in your account.
Original shipping costs (where applicable) are not refunded.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange a piece — for a different length, for example — is to return the original for a refund and place a new order.
Faulty or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@shop-trove.com with photos. We'll cover return shipping and either replace the item or issue a full refund — your choice.
Lifetime warranty (separate from returns)
Every Trove piece is covered by our Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing faults. This includes:
- Tarnishing, discoloration, or plating defects
- Clasp failure
- Structural defects in the chain or links
The warranty does not cover damage caused by the wearer, including but not limited to:
- Scratching, denting, or surface wear from normal use
- Breakage caused by impact, force, or mishandling
- Loss or theft
- Damage from exposure to harsh chemicals (chlorine, perfumes, cleaning agents, hot tubs, saltwater spas)
To make a warranty claim, email contact@shop-trove.com with your order number and clear photos of the fault. We'll review and respond within 48 hours.
